LYRA S

Lyra S is a Light Work Class ROV that can successfully perform various tasks such as observation, surveying, maintenance, and repair, thanks to its high thrust and lifting capacity provided by its 6-thruster propulsion system, optional 2 robotic arms, and durable structure.

Dokuz Eylül University carries out underwater archaeology studies with Demre and Lyra S. Through these studies, various historical artifacts such as amphoras, civilian ships, warships, cannons, and bells have been recovered from underwater and delivered to our museums.

Underwater Research: Lyra S is designed for use in underwater research. It can be used in fields such as marine biology, underwater geology, and underwater archaeology to collect various data and conduct research.
Observation and Survey: With its high maneuverability and equipment, Lyra S enables detailed observation and surveying operations underwater. It can be used for tasks such as monitoring underwater organisms and mapping the seafloor.
Maintenance and Repair of Underwater Structures: Lyra S can be used for maintenance and repair operations of underwater structures. It is an ideal tool for detecting and repairing damages that occur underwater, especially for ships and platforms.
Diving Support Vehicle: Lyra S can be used as a support vehicle during divers' dives. It can accompany divers, take on tasks to ensure their safety, and assist in the transportation of necessary equipment.
Marine Research and Education: Lyra S can support research and educational activities in fields such as marine biology, marine ecosystems, and marine geology. It is an important tool for exploring and analyzing the marine environment for students and researchers.
Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry: Lyra S plays a significant role in the petroleum and natural gas sector. It can be used for inspection, maintenance, and repair of underwater oil and gas platforms. By conducting tasks such as inspecting pipelines, detecting leaks, and monitoring equipment, it enhances operational efficiency and ensures environmental safety.
